Paul and Stephanie Rivero
Paul and Stephanie Rivero were appointed to Costa Rica in February 2007. They had been on the AIM program serving as furlough replacements for Shane and Dena Hayes in San Andres Island, Colombia, since April 2006. Prior to their going on the mission field as AIMers, the Riveros, along with their three children, Abigail, Jonathan, and Isaiah, were actively involved in teaching and training at their home church, Life Tabernacle, in Houston, Texas. He was also involved in several crusades in Mexico and Honduras to help build churches and preach. She taught at Texas Bible College and then at Life Christian Academy in Houston. Originally from Costa Rica, Paul Rivero has always felt a burden to return to his native country to minister to the people there. The Riveros plan to do whatever it takes to see a great revival in Costa Rica.
